About The Bible

The Bible is God’s Word to all humanity. It was written by human authors, under the supernatural guidance of the Holy Spirit. It is the supreme source of truth for Christian beliefs and living. Because it is verbally inspired by God, it is truth without any mixture of error.

About God

God is the Creator and Ruler of the universe. He is holy, self-existent, and eternally self-revealing in three distinct persons: the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit. These three are co-equal and are one God.

About The Holy Spirit

The Holy Spirit is equal with the Father and the Son as God. He is present in the world to make people aware of their need for Jesus Christ. He lives in every Christian from the moment of salvation sealing them as part of the family of God. He provides the Christian with power for spiritual living and growth, understanding of spiritual truth, and guidance in doing what is right and spiritual gifts for ministry in the body. Each believer should seek to live under His control daily. We hold to a non-charasmatic view in regards to spiritual gifts (sign gifts of apostle, prophecy, tongues, interpretation, healings, miracles, discerning spirits, word of wisdom, word of knowledge ceased upon the completion of the New Testament)

About Humanity

Humans were made in the spiritual image of God, to be like Him in character. Humans are the supreme object of God’s creation. Although people have tremendous potential for good, we are marred by an attitude of disobedience toward God called sin. This attitude separates human beings from God and they have no ability to remedy this situation outside of Jesus Christ

About Eternity

Human beings were created to exist forever. We will either exist eternally separated from God in Hell because of the sin of rejecting Jesus Christ or in union with God in Heaven because we have received forgiveness and salvation by trusting Jesus as our Savior. Heaven and Hell are the only places of eternal existence.

About Jesus Christ

Jesus Christ is the Son of God, was born of a virgin and is co-equal with the Father. Jesus lived a sinless human life and offered Himself as the perfect sacrifice and substitute for the sins for all humanity by shedding His blood and dying on a cross. He arose from the dead after three days to demonstrate His power over sin and death and God’s acceptance of His sacrifice. He ascended to Heaven’s glory and will return again to take his family to heaven. Then at the end of the Tribulation He will return to earth to reign as King of Kings and Lord of Lords.

About Salvation

Salvation is a gracious gift from God to humanity. Human beings can never make up for their sin by self-improvement or good works. Only by repentance toward God and faith in Jesus Christ as God’s offer of forgiveness can people be saved from sin’s penalty and have a place in God’s family. Eternal life begins the moment one receives Jesus Christ into their life by faith.

About Eternal Security

Because God gives those who sincerely repent and believe eternal life through Jesus Christ, the believer is secure in that salvation for eternity. Salvation is maintained by the grace and power of God, not by the self-effort of the Christian. It is the grace and keeping power of God that gives this security.

About The Church

The Church is the body of Jesus Christ who is its head.  The Local Church is a fellowship of baptized believers, gathering together in a certain locality, bound by a covenant of commitment to common beliefs, to glorify Jesus Christ in worship, spiritual growth, and in evangelistic effort to proclaim God’s love in Jesus Christ.  The Lord has given the Church two ordnances, the immersion of each believer in water (Baptism) as a symbol of their identification with Jesus Christ as Savior, and the Lord’s Supper which is a symbol of the sinless life and sacrificial, blood-atoning death of Jesus Christ.

About Evangelism

It is the responsibility and obligation of all believers to be witnesses to the grace of God and the Lord Jesus Christ in every area of our life, actions, attitudes and words.  It is corporate responsibility and obligation of believers through their local church to proclaim the Gospel around the world by going and sending… going ourselves to those who have not believed the Gospel and sending others through financial and prayer support.
